First of all, stop believing its a mans role to make the first move. There are men out there too shy to speak to strange women. Remember that everyone is a stranger until they meet. Its perfectly acceptable in todays society to approach a man and introduce yourself. He doesnt have to be a distant cousin of your best friend or a guy that works in your building. Men are shopping in grocery stores, filing up at gas stations and getting ice at local convenience stores. If he smiles when you smile, go the extra step and say hello. He may be waiting for you to approach him.
