The curent trend in movie making is to use HD cameras. The difference is obvious as the movie is clearer and details are captured better.
As the biggest difference already was that the colors of the movies improved a lot the last 10 years, the current use of HD cameras mean another big improvement of xxx movies compared to those of 10-15 years ago.
